Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I know I need to go to my Bio page.. but according to the knot, nest and bump.. I have no bio page. It also won't let me create one, because it says it doesn't exist. Any clue as to what to do? I kinda want to remove Mr. P from my siggy.

Let me clarify something. When you click the "my nest" in the top left corner does it bring you to a screen to have you log-in?
And once you log-in it says it doesn't exist?
I know awhile ago there were problems with people that had symbols in their SNs not being able to do stuff like this. I'm out of the loop if it ever got fixed, or if the nest gods just removed the symbols from their SNs.

I do have a "my nest" log-in screen. I can log in. Then when I go to the bio page, I get a whole bunch ofcrap basically saying access denied.See below...
Invalid file name for file monitoring: 'D:siterootwwwprofiles*city bride*web.config'. Common reasons for failure include:
- The filename is not a valid Win32 file name.
- The filename is not an absolute path.
- The filename contains wildcard characters.
- The file specified is a directory.
- Access denied.
It doesn't seem to exist, I'm assuming because of the *s in my name. But it was there at one point. Even if it's gone, it won't let me create a new one saying, again, access denied and invalid.
I'll post on the moderators board. I'm assuming Bump Kathleen is going to request that you send her an email. So go ahead and send one to community@thenest.com. Tell her why you are emailing, include the error message and let her know what you'd like your SN changed to. If you want just the symbols removed or something different.
I can't promise how fast it will be, but hopefully if I give her the heads up she'll get to it faster.

Try this:
Go to "my profile" at the top of the page.
When the bio page comes up, click on "my profile" again at the top.
Then click on Settings on the right hand side.
Then click on Avatar and Signature.
I tried to sign in on the bio thing but I can't remember my password. But the above was what worked for me when I tried to do it a few weeks ago. Hope that helps!
