Congress is considering passing SOPA and PIPA - which in short, will take away basic internet freedoms we currently have and pass the control completely to the government. The censorship that the American government will have over the internet will resemble that of communist countries. THIS WILL SEVERELY LIMIT JOBS FOR OUR GENERATION AND GENERATIONS TO COME.

To learn more read here. Wikipedia has blacked out completely in protest and companies like Ebay, Yahoo, Google, LinkedIn, AOL, and Facebook have written letters of protest begging that they not pass this bill.

Super dumb question (I think the site may be overloaded...I've seen this link eeeverywhere today), after clicking "sign" should it take me to a new screen? Because mine doesn't do anything....

It should just put a "Thank you" in the area after you click Sign. I would refresh and try again if it's not doing anything at all.

Great news guys! If you guys didn't see already - Obama has decided to shelve these bills until they can come up with a better solution that does not squelch free speech. Hooray for free speech and being vocal!
