If you've machine embroidered burp cloths
How do you do it?
I'm working with 6 ply guaze diapers. I don't like 3 ply birdseye. The darn thing will not fit in the hoop. So I tried hooping a stabilizer and using a spray adhesive to secure the burp cloth to it, and it mostly works. There is a small portion of my design where the fabric is stretching a bit and showing through my design.
Any ideas? I have it stuck on and smoothed and stretched pretty well, but the top layer still has some give. IDK what to do about it.
Re: If you've machine embroidered burp cloths
Does your machine have a basting stitch? If so, baste first and then stitch.
If not...what I would do when embroidering something with 2 or more ply, is to pin all around the design area after adhering to the stabilizer.
