We DVR'd and watched last night. It was a lot better than I expected, I'm totally hooked.
Anyone else watch it and want to discuss?

Re: Anyone watch Alcatraz?
I watched last night too, but only got through the Pilot, which I had kind of seen before. When we flew to LA, it played on a loop as a preview and so I saw bits and pieces but had no sound.
I am going to watch the next episode that aired tonight.
I really like it, but then again, I love me some Sam Neil.
I DVR'd it and watched it yesterday when I was home sick. I liked the first two episodes, so I think I'm going to enjoy it. I pretty much love everything JJ Abrams.
One question though, possible spoiler alert, if they know the chick's grandfather is out there, why aren't they trying to catch him?
Are they avoiding it all together or is it just they don't have a solid lead to follow? I assume though, it is going to be one of those long running chases for him so they are going to milk it as much as possible across many many episodes.
I'm guessing its because they don't have a solid lead, but I found it weird that she was all "Hey, that's my grandfather and he killed my partner!" and everyone else just glossed over it.
Just watched it. Very interesting. I hope they give it a shot to find an audience. I like how they're setting it up to find one prisoner per episode, but I hope that doesn't come back to bite them come cancellation season.
I also hate that it's hardly worth it to get invested in a new show because it might be canceled.
