Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Special Ed Teachers?

Tell me about your job, specifically if you went from general ed to special ed. I am thinking of making the switch after this school year. My administration is incredibly supportive, arranging for me to shadow and "sub" occassionally after our state testing this spring. But, I am wondering what the nity gritty is really like. I know every state/district and then school is different, and every year within a school can be different based on the child's needs, etc., but I'd love some feedback 
I am scheduled to take the SpEd praxis this spring, that's all our state requires for certification, since I already have my master's and administration/supervision certifications.
