This is why animals are awesome
Women was being beaten with a hammer by her SO and her dog laid on top of her to protect her. He ended up throwing them both out a window. She wouldn't leave the dog behind to go to a women's shelter. The story prompted the woman's shelter to change their policy on not allowing animals. See full story
here.
Re: This is why animals are awesome
Slight correction: This is why dogs are awesome. A cat would never do that.
I was reading a blog when I was home sick yesterday about a couple who lost their house in a fire and she thought their dog was stuck in the house and burned to death. Luckily her husband rescued their dog before the house totally went up in flames, but it made me not want to leave the house without the dogs. Like... ever.
LOL
and this is why I never leave the crock pot on... and have a straightener with auto shut off... and am still paranoid...
I don't know what you're talking about. Fatty would do a flying ninja move through the air, claws out, to protect me.
I'd pay to see Fatty do a flying ninja move.
Not that I want him to have to protect you, but the idea of him doing so made me giggle.
