I think I'm going to find a therapist today.
I'm not sure what I need, exactly, but I know I'm effed up in the head and I know I need to get it figured out.
I can't handle random bursts of uncontrollable crying for no apparent reason anymore.

Re: I think I'm going to find a therapist today.
Is this stress or anxiety related, or do you think it might be something more, like depression or a chemical imbalance?
You say there are no reasons for your outbursts, but are you already worked up in your mind or on edge before they happen?
I am sorry you are not feeling "right", I have no idea why all of us are having so many issues right before our G2G, this is suckass timing!
Good luck with the therapist, I hope you can find a good one who can provide some answers that work for you.
I was diagnosed with depression once already, and it might be that, but I have no idea.
Used to be in waves, but after switching BCP, the waves were much smaller and more manageable.
I'm not feeling particularly stressed over anything. In fact, was more excited than anything because everything is going so well (insurance, audition, etc).
IDK wth is wrong with me.
I certainly hope they can help get you out of the dark side before next weekend, we want you at your shiny smiley best! I'll do anything I can to get you there!
**hugs**
Thanks, Erin, it's really appreciated.
I'm sure regardless I'll be far to excited for anything to overshadow.
I used to be on them, but when I lost my insurance I went off of them.
I was going to see if the therapist thought that that would be best.
According to hubby I had worse mood swings on them than not.
If you need to beat someone up, my number is posted on the G2G wall and i think on my FB page.
I'm glad you're doing something instead of sitting around and not. I hope you find a therapist who will help you and who you trust.
I agree with this. I'm not currently on anything, but I was for several years and it took a while to find something that was right. I finally found one that made me feel normal, and like I could handle life again... it can take a few tries.
Good for you though for making this decision, and I hope you find a therapist that can help you get to a better place.
I'm only mentioning this because of my own recent diagnosis that I totally wasn't expecting, but when was the last time you had your thyroid checked? That can be the cause of depression and mood swings as well.
Other than that, I'm super happy that you're picking yourself up and doing something about this. It can be difficult to ask for help with these things and I think it's wonderful that you're taking care of yourself. It might just take a little therapy, it might take meds, but either way, you're doing something about it! Way to go!
