  Well she didn't actually say it, right? So what's the big deal? Kids repeat shiit all the time and it's bound to happen to some degree to everyone. I thought it was funny and I was definitely giggling with Cam at the end at the wedding.

  I saw the news yesterday but didnt see the episode until last night. Yes its funny, but I think they made that point after 1 or 2 times. I dont have kids but if I was at the wedding and that happened it would be hard not to laugh

  Why are people offended by this?? I was thinking "that's so gonna be my kid". If DS did that, I'd be embarrassed for sure but I bet I'd still laugh later. And if someone else's kid did it, I'd think it was hysterical.

  I thought it was funny too.  I didn't read any of the reasons why people were upset about it, but possibly because it's a family show (although it airs at 9, which I think most kinds of elm. school age would be in bed by then) and even though they didn't actually have her say the word, I can see kids watching and turning to their parents saying "what's that word, what is she supposed to be saying," and that might be hard to explain.

  I don't see what the big deal is. People need to get a life. I read in an article that she only actually said "fudge" so it's not like she even said the real world. When I was 5 I said the F word when I couldn't get Barbie's Ferrari to fit into a makeshift cardboard box garage and I was convinced I made the word up. Also when I was little there was a crazy toddler who used to run around church screaming obscenities. Children will say whatever they hear and I don't understand why that's such a big deal to make a joke of.

  its a TV show; I'm sure half the people getting their panties in a wad drop the f-bomb arund their kids (and other people's kids) all the time.  And say disrespectful things about others around their kids.

  Do we not have bigger cultural issues to contend with?

  I thought it was hysterical, especially Cam's reaction because there's always at least one adult who does that. And I'm pretty sure every parent has been or will be in the position of their kid repeating a word they shouldn't be saying. DD's already said "crap", "dammit", and "***", and that's WITH us watching our mouths around her.

  I don't get what all the fuss is about.  First off, the little girl said "fudge" when they taped.  It was bleeped out.  And more importantly, it's real!  It happens!  I thought it was hilarious, especially Cam's reaction.

  Lily's cursing storyline didn't really interest me... maybe because I don't have a toddler. I thought her light up dress was funnier.

  I waited for half the episode for my lol moment I usually have when I watch Modern Family... and it finally came when Phil and Claire went viral and Phil was auto-tuned. I lol'd again the next day on the treadmill when a T-Pain song came up on my playlist and it reminded me of auto-tuned Phil.

  I was not offended by the episode, I actually thought it was really good. So good, that when they showed Phils auto-tuned video, I inhaled the diet pepsi I had just taken a sip of!

  I thought it was funny too - more so Cam's reaction and the fact that cursing children and old people rapping are what make him giggle.

  The point is that the show is about a "modern family" and so they typically portray things that happen in modern society. I loved it. People need to get a life.
