I like the SAG awards a lot, esp. the "I am an actor" opening. Their choices are way more down-to-earth than the Golden Globes, it seems. I haven't watched either show, but I favor Boardwalk Empire over Homeland. (but I dislike Danes intensely)
I really like Modern Family and wouldn't mind if they won the awards. I will also be pleased if Viola Davis wins for The Help. Who knows who will win the Oscar... though I think Meryl may be ahead by a tiny bit.
It's hard to say because Viola certainly is in the superior movie, at least based on Iron Lady's reviews.
