Mini Crib

MIL wants to buy a mini crib to keep at her house.

Anyone have one they like?

The one she has her eye on is 38*26*40 with a weight limit of 35 lbs. I feel like he is going to outgrow that pretty quick but I also don't know when kids slow their growth. Right now he is about 33 inches tall and 27 lbs.

Re: Mini Crib

  • Are those the same dimensions as a pack-n-play? Growth slows way down after the first year but given Abe's current stats, it sounds like he'll outgrow it fairly quickly in length if not weight.

FWIW, Helen is about 37" or 38" and around 32 lbs.

  • I thought of the PnP after I posted this. The weight limit on MIL's is 25lbs. Ours is 35lbs.
  • I'm not sure about their height, but Jack weighs 27 pounds and Keaghan weighs 29 pounds and will be 3 in April lol! They have hovered around this weight since about last January... fluctuating between 25 and 30 pounds... we used a PnP with them this summer but will have to come up with something new for the upcoming summer.

How often does he sleep there? Maybe she can find a PnP on consignment with a 35 pound weight limit... until he is ready for a toddler/real bed.
