FB makes the world feel smaller

How else would I stumble upon the random fact that my roommate from Atlanta (who incidentally grew up in IA) went to grad school in Indiana with a girl I worked with for two years in DC?

Re: FB makes the world feel smaller

  • It's crazy how that works! One of my h.s. friends knows H's aunt's daughter. Cliffswife knows one of my coworkers, lauren9317 was tagged in a picture or is friends with one of my FB friends who I know through another friends, and moonstone is friends with someone my mouse accidentally rolled over on a kellymom.com FB comment (not sure I told you that, moomstone, or lauren). It's a small world after all.......it's a small world after all....... :)

  • I like the "mutal friends" icon on FB.  I am always amazed at how we are all intertwined.

6 degrees of separation.  I totally believe in it :)

Agreed!  I find myself saying, "they know each other"!  LOL

  • Oh, and I always think it's interested to see who's NOT friends with who.  For example, I have a childhood friend on FB and I am also a friend of her mother's but they are not friends.  I take it they had a falling out

    Hmm, interesting......

Ha.  I should get a life and stop stalking people on FB.

Oooh do tell, I love this stuff.

Yeah, I've seen some random connections on FB, it's so cool!

  • I always love seeing the random connections, but sometimes FB creeps me out a little too. Like the other day it popped up with the friend suggestion of my adoptive daughter's case manager - but we haven't friended our daughter yet, and don't have any mutual friends with the case manager so I have no idea how FB knew about the connection!
