I saw in the PP about Affinty CU you mentioned you have a high interest checking account. Is it the egreens rewards account? That's one of the accounts I was looking at and the reason we may switch. Can you offer some info. or experience about it? Thanks!

Re: MrsHunter2B

  • Yes, we have the eGreen Rewards account.  We never have any issues meeting the requirements for the interest rate.  You can have the bill payments set up automatically online so you don't have to worry about entering them each month.  We also both have our direct deposits set up to come in automatically.  We never seem to have an issue reaching the 15 debit transactions either.  :)  We haven't had any issues with the account and it's nice to have a higher interest rate than the traditional savings accounts offer.  Let me know if you have any questions that I missed.

  • Great! I've never had an account like that, and just wanted to make sure it wasn't too good to be true with that interest rate :) Now I just have to endure the process of switching banks. We have about 15 different bills that are on automatic debit so this may take awhile to call all of them and switch!

  • We hadn't either and I was leary at first when my husband told me about it, but it's been great.  Making the switch is by far the worst part!
