paper resume question for job fair

for the job fair i'm attending (obviously it doesn't matter when I submit resumes electronically):

my portfolio i'm handing out has a light grey background.

should my resume still be white or should i get grey paper to coordinate?

Re: paper resume question for job fair

  • Personally, I hate matchy matchy so I would not have an issue.  If you had the paper, I would say use it.  Not sure if it is worth going and getting it.  Do you have other paper now?  I would have something that is the same weight/texture, but no neccessarily the same color.

Just re-read this.  I am no help!

  • I would probably go with the grey because it will stand out more.
