Can I get a thank god hallelujah?!
I was in loan forebearance until recently because I just got a job within the past 6 months. Now that I'm working I applied for income based repayment (bc law school was hella expensive) and I got a bill for $1800 a month today, which is more than half my monthly income.
In tears I called my loan company. I waited on hold for what seemed like forever as the bile rose in my throat--they sent a premature bill. My IBR will only be $180--I burst into hysterics, told the woman I loved her and how bad of a year I had. She just kept telling me, "It's going to be okay". I'm so relieved but still can't stop crying.
And for fun...name the country song the title is from!
