There was a guy on American Idol last night. He quit his federal job working at a penitentiary to go and try out for American Idol. OK fine, no big deal, right? But his girlfriend is 6 months pregnant. IMO, he wasn't even winner worthy.
And his reasoning, "I wanted to follow my dreams before we had children." Well buddy, sorry to disappoint, but your window is a mere 3 months and good luck finding a job in a town where they are scarce.

I agree with you, that is irresponsible and stupid to do in this economy. I'd be pissed if I were his wife. So, I take it they gave him a yellow flyer?
One of the ones I did see, and really liked, was that blonde country singer girl who worked with the down syndrome folks. She was really cute and had a pretty soothing voice.

Our local radio station found her facebook this morning and posted it. Yeah, she already posted how she did in Hollywood....I didn't think they could do that?

Beta #1=81.1 Beta #2=134.5 Beta #3=58.1 #4=2369 WTH?!-Not sure if its viable
2/21/13 - Went to RE expecting the worse and saw the flutter of the heart...still measuring small. To God be the Glory!!
2/28/13 - heart rate = 147bpm!! Measuring on target!

People are idiots. Let's hope his child doesn't have the same genes and is capable of good decision making.
They aren't supposed to, and can get kicked off if caught. I think that happened last year, which is why there was a last-minute sub for the top 24 (one kid's mom blabbed about her son making it, so he was kicked off).
I didn't think the tent girl was all that good, to be honest. And, Idol is really sucking with the auditions. They used to actually show people trying out. Now it's all personal stories, lame jokes, ridiculous coverage (like Ryan and the guy going out to find people who liked his voice and bringing back the little girls), and 500 commercial breaks.
bahhaha, I did see Tent Girl. I didn't think she was that great but was happy to see her get a hotel room for a little while. No thank you on tent living, I couldn't do it!
I saw tent girl. Her BF works during the week and takes weekend jobs. I wonder though, if SHE trying to work too? Maybe even a grocery store, fast food, anything to get out of a tent?
