Decorate This
Thanks all!! I'm pretty thrilled with the finished product - especially given where we started out. It was such a cramped, dark space - and totally impossible to keep clean. This feels like the total opposite.
Yep - tub is the Kohler Devonshire. We couldn't go longer so we figured we'd go deep.
Doesn't it feel so great to bust out that middle wall? Man did I hate that thing. Dumbest use of space ever.
As for the wainscoting, it's wooden beadboard with a 2 1/2" plank (to mimic the back wall of the bookshelves) with a simple two piece crown. The colors are *really* close but look miles apart next to each other like this. The white is SW extra white and the "grey" is SW crushed ice.

It felt so freeing taking a sledge hammer to the wall! Our TH is tiny to being with, making one tiny room into 2 teeny tiny rooms was the dumbest move ever. The BR was the first thing that got re-done because of that stupid wall. That is the same tub, we have the matching toilet too. Although about a year ago right around the drain something was dropped and caused a little hole in the fiberglas which caused a leak into our pantry downstairs. Thankfully we tried a little fiberglass sealer made for boats (can't remember the correct term, but it was from HD) and it no more leadk..Good to know about the ceiling. I emailed the pic to DH and he really like it.
