TWO MORE DAYS!!!
As of Saturday when the moving truck comes, BF and I will be officially "cohabitating."
This week has been crazy. We took a bunch of the small stuff over in my car last weekend. Every day at lunch this week I have gone home to pack more stuff. My house is piles and piles of boxes. I can't wait to not be living out of boxes!
DS seems really excited about it, which is great. Ex seems not as excited because that is all DS can talk about (how much fun he has with BF, how cool his new room is, how one of his bff's from his old preschool is now his neighbor). But Ex really has no choice in the matter since he already lives with gf (so he can't object to me living with someone) and I did all that was necessary to keep ds in his current school.
BF and I did our rental and cohabitation agreement last night -- like a prenup for a couple living together but not married. That was werid, but we both have assets and I have a child that we want to protect, so we did it.
Think good thoughts that the forecasted rain waits until Saturday afternoon!!

At least your X isn't taking you to court for full custody of your DS because you're moving him. Yup...that's what mine is doing ::eyeroll:: I love the idea of a cohabitation/rental agreement. Very smart, and awesome that you're both willing to do it with no reservations. That speaks volumes about the type of relationship you two have. I'm sure you'll never need to use those agreements!
