A friend of a friend is relocating from Austin to Houston and is interested in the Sugar Land area. The husband is already working here and she is at home with a 2year old and has been on bed rest for the last 4 months with her second pregnancy. Apparently she is in charge of finding a new house. And she is thinking they may want to lease a house until they better learn the area.
Since I live in Sugar Land my firend asked if I knew anyone she could recommend to her friend. Our Realtor was okay, but I wanted to see if there were any outstanding recommendations on here.
I sent my friend a link to HAR with a few searches defined for her firend to use until she can talk to a Realtor.
Also, I wasn't sure she is a desireable type of client before I recommend Brandi. :-)I know this will take more work since they aren't local and they have no knowledge of the area. On the plus side, since they are from Austin the house prices will look low. :-)

Get DirectionsPhone832-741-4119Websitehttp://gohurleygroup.com/http://sugarlandrelocation.com/ She is really wonderful and hard working. She's very no nonsense and will tell you the truth before she'll make a sale. Wonderful person all around. She has 3 kids, including young twins and is certainly going to by sympathetic to your friends needs. If your friend calls her, please have her say Viula referred her. I don't get anything out of it but it's a nice way to let her know I am thinking about her
I'd send her BPaullo's contact info. She doesn't sell Texas, but she sells Houston and the Houston area and she is pretty good at it too.
This is MGR....I'm coming out of the woodworks to highly recommend bpaullo. She was awesome to work with during the buy and sell process. I think it is best to have a realtor who is fun to work with, knows the business, is great at negotiating, and can work the contracts well rather than having a realtor who is an "expert" in a certain location. (as a lawyer, I fully appreciated her negotiation skills, contract knowledge etc....it was hard for me to give up control of that and I got to where I trusted her completely in negotiations) I can say this from experience bc my old house and new house were BOTH not in bpaullo's primary area and I never had any complaints regarding how she marketed my sale or showed me houses in my buy area. In fact, my DH and I switched gears from buying in her primary area to a totally different area at the last minute and she adjusted her search criteria for us without hesitation and found us a beautiful house that met all of our needs and then some. She wasn't all about "Memorial"....she was about finding us the perfect house (as cheesy as that sounds). I think THAT is what makes a top notch realtor....not that they know a neighborhood well.....
Anyway, let me know if your friend would like more info about bpaullo and I'd be happy to email with her!
Thanks, ladies! I'll send her the information for both V's friend and bpaullo as well as the names of the people who referred each.
Oh, and I'm keeping this information for myself as well since we might want to move in the next few years. We love our house, but we need more storage space.
