How long does it usually take to make your potato soup from start to finish? I finally got all the ingredients and want to make it for tonight.
This COLD nasty SNOWY weather calls for a good soup for sure!
Re: *Amanda*
Honestly, it can be pretty tedious. I would say an hour, only because it takes a while for the potatoes to boil in the broth. While the potatoes are boiling, that's when I cook my bacon (and crumble it), and cut up the cheeses.
You can save time by buying pre-cooked bacon, but IMO it's just not the same....
It may be time-consuming but it's SO worth it...especially on a winter day like today!
Thanks!! I was actually expecting you to say quite a bit longer!
I can't wait to finally taste this famous soup!
Thanks again.
