They're not used to jewelry- at least that's what S told me.
Also, we have video of our ceremony, and at the end it shows the back of the room, and I can see Mr.D wiping his eyes. I can't tell if he was wiping away tears or had a cold.
Ha! Really? I'll have to ask him. Maybe he was wiping tears away from laughing - your rabbi was pretty funny.
