I never even thought of seeing if DH's xbox connects to amazon. I thought we were going to have to get some sort of cord to run from my laptop to the tv. I'm so dense sometimes. lol

I use Prime and I stream either through our TV (app enabled- we have an Amazon app and you just open that and stream) and through our Blu-Ray in another room (we specifically purchased one that was compatible with Amazon streaming).
I wouldn't know how to do it through a PS3- I'd check to see if they're even compatible- if so, they'd have something for it in their "Marketplace" (or whatever it is called on PS3, this is where we downloaded Netflix for our xbox).
Stand up for something you believe in.
I went into my Amazon account (on my computer) and selected the movie. It was added to my account. Then I had to connect my Amazon account to my Tivo account, which I also did via computer. There were instructions for doing this on Amazon's site. After I did those steps, the movie magically appeared in my Tivo playlist, and I could select the movie and watch it on my TV.
We have this. It's awesome. I can even Nest from my TV.
I'll ask G about the PS3 thing. If there's a way to do it, he'll know how - for sure.
?! That looks awesome!

I know for sure our bluray player and tv have the app, not sure about the xbox. I love, love, love the xbox netflix though. I know they have a hulu app too, thought we haven't used it.

You press a little search button, and type the name of what you want to watch - and then it gives you a list of options for where you can stream it from/buy it from.
Even some of the stuff on YouTube looks like "normal" TV.
We also have this Sony TV (upstairs...) where the internet is integrated into the TV itself. There are other brands that have similar capabilities, but since the Sony is based on Google/Android, it's more of an open platform than some of the other TV's out there. The only thing I hate about this is the remote. The remote itself is cool (it has a qwerty keyboard!) but, is not backlit. So, it's a PITA at night (when we usually use that TV)
