AW: I am a "Bright Light"
Last night DH and I went to an awards dinner for the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night fundraiser walk. This is not something we would normally have gone to, but one of my NY resolutions is to say yes to more invitations (and then actually go).
So we went and as we walk in there is a big sign, listing all the "bright lights" and I was on it! DH and I got a cute picture of us pointing to my name!
And then, to top off a fun evening, the take away favor was.... a Georgetown Cupcake cupcake. Nom, nom! Even better, it was coconut, so I got DH's too! But, in the spirit of my other NY resolutions, I only ate one and brought the other in to work and gave to my co-worker.
Yeah for trying new things!
