Lulu and any fondant users
I'm planning to make fondant at home. I have a few recipes saved on pinterest, but I'm wondering if anyone can give me a fail proof recipe?
I'm making it today for the cake I'm hoping to decorate tomorrow

I have never actually tried this, but I've always wanted to try this super easy fondant recipe!!!
It is Marshmallow Fondant!

Sounds good to me!
I believe this is the recipe I based mine on http://whatscookingamerica.net/PegW/Fondant.htm. I was watching this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RUynjdoBxY&feature=related at the time and that's the one they had linked, so I'm sure I followed it. It's a marshmallow fondant and super easy to make.
My suggestions,
1. Add the sugar in small batches, you might not need as much as the recipe calls for.
2. Once the marshmallow is melted add the sugar and mix in the bowl and then pour onto surface and knead.
3. If you are adding color, I found it easier to add the color to the melted marshmallows and if the color wasn't where I wanted it after the fondant was formed, I kneaded more in (which was a pain in the butt, my hands started hurting). If you decide to add the color in with the marshmallows, just make sure to cut the recipe in half or thirds or however much you need for that particular color.
