To those people who were scared of me at first..
Looking back -
Do you think you were scared of me.. or were you scared of what I'd say to you that you were trying to avoid?
Re: Scared of me?
I was never scared of you, or what you'd say to me. I did not, however, expect you to like me much since I'm so Suzy-Mc--Sunshine. I thought I'd just endlessly annoy you.
Glad ya do, though.
This part. I'm always afraid of chastisement and you seem to be a harbinger of that
You say a lot of things I did not/currently do not have the balls to say. You tell it like it is and I always wondered when I would post something that would "unleash your wrath." Ok not really "unleash your wrath" but more question myself in a devil's advocate sort of way.
I think this goes along with what Jenny#s posted in my complaint post earlier...people want to feel validated with what they think/feel. You are who you are and say what you say and mean it. You can't ask for much more.
I have always tried. I know I slip up and I have people like you to thank for pointing it out
I wouldn't say I was ever scared of you, I appreciate a person who is honest and speaks their mind. And I am kind of curious as to what you think of me.
In my beginning here though, I was rather put off by you by making a completely new post on something that I had made a typo about. I thought it was uncalled for, but I did seem like an idiot in that moment.
I do think that you are one of the most genuine, honest, and kind people on this board. You just always tell it how it is, whether or not people are ready to hear it.
Surprisingly you weren't on my intimidating list.
I find it refreshing when people can say what I want to say. I have the same thoughts in my head, I just can't articulate it well.
This still makes me giggle.
How about we just dump it on?
Ooooohhhh...who was? Inquiring minds want to know!
I don't recall the post but I'd be willing to bet I was making an example because it was something that a lot of people did that was getting annoying.
Or I found it funny..
Do these jeans make my @ss look fat?
you still scare me and you have my address
::::;nervous shaking:::
It was mostly the board as a group, the relationships they had/have with each other.
I will say the person who sticks out the most was Ang. Only because I think she comes off as abrasive when she doesn't really mean it.
I also could be totally off-base with this and maybe she does mean it.
Either way, I've gotten passed it, and realize this is a board full of (mostly) cool-ass chicks.
This. I think most of what you say, but I am working on being nicer in life so I keep them to myself. Plus I know you will say what needs to be said, so thanks for letting me off the hook with myself :-)
Meh, I get that now, it was just off putting in the beginning.
No worries.
