It is a really good thing I didn't drink in high school

Because I would have never gotten away with it... Just from being sick this morning I have broken blood vessels all over both sides of my face. They look like little red freckles all over, only not in a cute way lol. I had this happen with Wyatt but not nearly as bad as far as I remember. Has anyone else had this happen and does anyone know if there is anyway to keep it from happening? I doubt there is but I'm open to suggestions.

  • No suggestions but I can't even imagine going through that!  I hope it gets better for you.

  • Ugh hope you feel better soon! There were a few times in the last few weeks, especially when I ended up dry heaving, not so much with the actual vomiting, that I felt like I was going to pop something, either in my eyes or somewhere in my head. The pressure from the hurling was just ridiculous and awful.

  • That happens to my aunt every time she throws up. I don't think there's anything you can do about it unfortunately.

  • We have the gel packs that you put in the freezer. I keep those with me and they go right on as soon as I'm 'finished' while it doesn't prevent them, it minimizes their appearance - I break the blood vessels under (and inside the lids) my eyes every time I throw up. The only thing that helps is to find the position that uses the least amount of force/pressure when puking. Easier said than done. I've busted them on my thighs before - that's talent Stick out tongue
