Shipping to APO/FPO

I'm shocked at how many of my favorite stores won't ship to APO/FPOs. What are your favorite sites that DO ship to FPO/APO...?

Re: Shipping to APO/FPO

  • Amazon, Shopbop, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Nike, REI, Merrell, and Under Armour. I order direct from a bathing suit company I love instead of through a third party because they know me and how to send priority to APO/FPO.

Honestly, if it doesn't come from one of those places, I don't place the order. If something does go missing, I know I can trust they have purchased insurance and will send me a replacement ASAP if it doesn't make its way here.

  •  Victoria Secret, LL Bean, American Eagle, Old Navy

  • What about household goods...?
  • We are military and lived in Germany for 7.5 years! it was so frustrating to get some companies to send you things without charging an arm and a leg!  and just knowing you are missing awesome things on sale from places like TJ Maxx,  Homegoods, etc, so what I came up with while I was overseas with the hubby was to make a company that reaches out to overseas families, see what they were interested in buying, size, color, price, etc and then I would go searching all those good stores they dont have access to and take photos of the items they are looking for, or something very similar and email it to them, then, if the person wanted it, I could ship it to them, for the price of shipping and the item itself, plus 10% for gas, etc. either way, the person would get what they wanted and it would be cheaper than flying back to the states or paying exorbant shipping charges..so now that is what I do.Kind of like a personal shopper, for military.  feel free to contact me if you are at all interested. Good Luck.
  • BB&B ships to APO, so does Target, DrugStore.com, Zappos......honestly I've encountered more places that DO ship to APO than don't.   If I really want something that can't be shipped to APO I will usually just have it sent to my parents, then have them put it in a flat-rate box and ship it to me.   This isn't always cost-effective, but depending on what it is, it's worth it.
