OMG annoying

Ever since I came home, no matter how late I stay up, my body wakes me up between 5 and 6 am. WTF, it's Saturday! I thought I would sleep really good last night because we went out, I had a few margaritas, crashed around 2, but no, here it is, 6 am and I've been up for an hour. Wide. Awake.

There was really no point to this, just a mini-rant.

Re: OMG annoying

  • When I fly back from Australia, I find it takes 1 to 2 weeks to get everything back on my home schedule.  I usually have one completely useless day to recover from the worst of the jet-lag, but then it takes a couple of weeks to get back on a proper sleeping/waking schedule.  I pretty much just let my body tell me when its time to go to bed and when its time to wake up.  It works itself back to a schedule.

I don't mind being held to a higher standard; I mind being held to a lower one. (Sam Seaborn, The West Wing)

  • I know exactly what you mean. Since I wake up at 5:45 am every weekday, I always have a hard time sleeping past 6 on weekends. So. annoying.
