I've been come-and-go this week, I MUST shop for a new computer this weekend or else I might go crazy. This one just isn't cutting it anymore. Any rec's for decently cheap ones? (less than $600) Stores to check out I might not have thought of?
I've been tracking food and going to the gym two weeks strong now! If I can keep it up for a solid month, we might have a successful routine in place. How's it going for everyone else?
Any exciting plans this weekend? It's supposed to be rainy here, and we were supposed to have a puppy playdate with H's friend, but in the rain might not be so much fun for them! Otherwise it's sweatpants and the fireplace

Morning! Happy Friday (FINALLY!!!)! Congrats on tracking food/exercise for 2 weeks straight! That is awesome, I really need to get into that!!
The drive into work today was absolutely horrible, the fog was so thick that people were literally going about 48 mph on the highway (normally 70 here). Uuuuugh, I was here with 1 minute to spare! My cousin's son's 1st birthday is today and his party is tomorrow. So we're going to that and then will probably work on cleaning the house and getting things organized. Nothing too exciting. However, I am looking forward to a nap this afternoon!
Good morning! H, my mom, and I all have Toshiba laptops and love them to death you can get them for a decent price. Mine was about $700, my mom's was about $600, and well...H's was way more than I ever want to talk about (it was back when he was single and it seriously has everything included on it, like insane speakers, and it's meant for gaming and whatnot)...haha.
Today we're having a friend over at noon. I think I might experiment with my hair and see if it's cute when curly at this length. Maybe it'll stop me from cutting it all off, I know my nails are growing like fricken crazy right now but I'm not really noticing a change in my hair, but then again I look at it all the time and don't think I would notice it growing any faster.
I'm pretty sure we need to get a pizza at some point today...
ETA: I'm not happy with H because he made a pot of coffee and I can't drink any of it. Now I really want to go to Starbucks for a decaf white mocha misto. =(

Happy Friday!! I am so glad it's Friday. Today is a busy day for me. I have to work, naturally. Then, while I'm here I have to call the mortgage lender to lock in our interest rate and get the whole process started. (SHH don't tell my boss
) And I have to spend the day fighting software. It's not doing what I tell it to do. *whine.
This weekend is Epic Cleaning Weekend. We close in just over a month. Which means we have to start de-cluttering our apartment. It's amazing how much stuff can accumulate. So we're taking probably the next 2 weekends and cleaning.
That sounds like my drive to work yesterday... it was snowing and rather than 55 (the posted speed limit) we were driving 25! it was ridiculous, but safer i supposed! Glad you still made it to work on time!

Today is off to a much better start than yesterday! Tonight, I'm not sure what we're doing. We're supposed to get a snow storm and are in a winter storm advisory until 6pm tonight, 1-6", so we'll see. If it snows we'll stay in and watch movies. If it doesn't snow, we're going to a hockey game (IA Buccaneers) for their "Buck Beer" night using free tickets a friend has.
Tomorrow, I work at the Y from 12-3 and then have a crafting date with one of the girls I tutor for and her mom, to help them use their new Cricut. Sunday, I have a massage (eek!) that I'm SO SO excited for!

i'm really excited for this weekend because we are going to have dinner with a couple that is getting married this summer (DH is a groomsman) and tomorrow 2 of Jason's friends from out of town are driving here to spend the rest of the weekend with us. we worked out bootys off last weekend, cleaning and organizing everything so i cant wait to just hang out and have a good time!
also, I had dinner last night with a friend whose husband is working in Belgium for the next 3 years... DH and I might plan a trip to Europe for later this year because we would have somewhere to stay & my parents have a ton of miles that we could use for our flights. I'm really excited about this possibility!
Good morning!! We're supposed to get snow/ice tonight too, so I'm excited! Tomorrow I'm babysitting and we have a dinner party, so I'm hoping it's not too bad!!
I have been tracking and working out for a week now, but not getting anywhere. I know I need to stick with it, but losing no weight and on day 8 of level 1 of 30 DS is discouraging. I know the program is to tone, so I'm sticking with it. I think that being aware of my calories is awesome though. I was definitely eating wayyy too many a day!

This week has been so bloody long! Started off with weather in the -30 to -40C/-20 to -40F It's been frigid. Tomorrow it's supposed to be +3C/37F. Realy weather? My headaches are definitely already starting with the warm up today. UGGGHH
DH has hockey tonight so I'm chilling getting things done so we can enjoy the weekend. Skype meeting with my bible study partner.
Tomorrow: Curling in the AM, my friend is having a clothing sale in the afternoon and then DH and I are hitting up the new Underworld movie. YAH!
Sunday: Chill out and clean up the garage a little now that it's getting warm.

This weekend we're celebrating H's birthday and I'm so excited (probably more excited than he is). It snowed last night and it's supposed to snow again tomorrow. Guess winter's finally here!

It sucks, but the dog still needs out. lol You wear LOTS of layers and drink coffee. I take Beta for a walk in snowpants and a parka. You can only see my eyes. lol

Today has been so crazy busy at work this is the first time today I have been able to get online and take a break. Hopefully this afternoon will slow down and I can catch up on all the posts!
We don't have a ton of plans this weekend. Going to watch the Mizzou bball game with some friends tomorrow at our favorite bar/ restuarant and grabbing lunch. Then staying the night with H's parents. Sunday I want to take my Mom to see the Girl witht the Dragon Tattoo. We have both read the book now and want to see the movie! We are also taking our puppy in to get groomed. Poor thing, she is scared to death of the blow dryer.
Happy Friday everyone! And what a Friday it's been so far. On my way to work this morning, I got rear-ended while I was sitting at a red light, so I had to deal with that and I ended up being an hour late to work. This is my second not-at-fault accident in a month! I'm just frustrated because my car just got fixed and now it needs to be repaired again. Thankfully, since it wasn't my fault, I won't have to worry about paying my deductible.
My day today is pretty busy, and so far the day has moved along pretty quickly. Tonight I'm just going to make dinner and catch up on TV shows on m DVR. Tomorrow, when H is at work, I'll be cleaning and running errands. On Sunday, my parents are supposed to come up to see us so I can help my mom set up her new iPhone, and we'll probably go out to lunch. That's pretty much all I have in the way of plans. I keep feeling like there was something else I was supposed to do this weekend, but I can't remember what it is.

I had a chiropractor appt after school, and I'm about to check my work email since I didn't get to it this afternoon- I was too busy teaching! H and I are about to go to dinner with my parents, then we're going to the rodeo at our local civic center
It's something we do with my dad every year, and I absolutely love it!
Tomorrow night, we're going to a movie at an old theater, and Sunday is church/grocery shopping/Ravens' game. Then H has to work in the evening.
Glad you're okay, but that's so awful! I just wouldn't be driving anywhere, lol
