Songs

I'm on a music kick I guess...

So what song have your recently "rocked out to" in your car?

This morning I was singing and turned up the volume to Miranda Lambert's "Bagage Claim" singing as if I was telling some guy where to go...I'm cool like that ;-)

Re: Songs

  • I rock out in my car ALL the time. I spend a minimum of 70 minutes in the car each workday, so I listen to a lot of music. My favorite "rock out" song right now is "Moves like Jagger" by Maroon 5. Pretty much any Carrie Underwood song (especially from her first album) makes me belt it out. I am so glad that I don't carpool with anyone because I am so tone deaf. lol

  • I'm all over Brantley Gilbert, Eric Church and Jason Aldean right now. We are going to see BG and EC in March so I'm over playing their CDs haha
  • I have been on a serious Zac Brown Band kick lately!

  • I'll rock out to just about anything in my car, lol. I really love The Script lately though. I'm always hoping I'll hear one of their songs on my drive.

  • This is a great post today!!  I was in the car about double the amount of time this morning due to some ridiculous traffic, and right when I was about to snap the BEST rock out song came on the radio.... LMFAO, Sexy and I Know It.

I would post the link to the youtube video, because it is HILAROUS, but unfortunately it was marked as inappropriate so you have to log-in to youtube to view it.  Stupid double standards... girls boobs can be wiggling and jiggling all over the place in a music video... but you get some frontal jiggle on a boy and it is ALL OVER.  Ugh.

  • I'm loving Enter Shikari's new CD. It's pretty dancey. I would love to see them live again, the last time I saw them was the day we found out that we were expecting and day 2 of morning sickness so that was a rough night haha. I also discovered my new motion sickness on the 90 minute drive there, ugh.

They're British and hilarious. They normally wear athletic shorts and bright colored polos with popped collars.

  • I have been listening to Jason Aldean and Hunter Hayes CDs.  I have a 30 minute drive each way to work, so I get tired of music fast.  I'm open to suggestions :-)
  • My Ipod adapter has been broken for a couple of months now so I can't really listen to good sound quality music at the moment. Sad But my current song that I "rock out" to and turn up the volume everytime it's on the radio is "Good Feeling" by FloRida. Gotta love car dancing too. I bet it would sound way better if it were coming through my Ipod though.

I LOVE FloRida! And, it's terrible of me and I hate admitting it, but I really do like Pitbull too...... I usually don't like the people he collaborates with, but "I Know You Want Me" is pretty freaking great. (hint: I usually get my awesome rock out song ideas from So You Think You Can Dance - I can't wait till it comes back on!)
