Which Carribean cruise...
would YOU choose (assuming they are all the same price)?
- Miami to Key West to Cozumel, Mexico
- Miami to Grand Turk to Half Moon Cay and Nassau, Bahamas
- Miami to Ocho Rios, Jamaica to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Feel free to share why, if you want

Re: Which Carribean cruise...
Miami - Ocho Rios - Grand Cayman
Out of the ports listed, these were my favorites. Plenty to do! In Ocho Rios we climbed Dunn's River Falls and took a tour with a private local driver who was amazing! At Grand Cayman we did an excursion to Stingray City and I loved petting and holding the stingrays. Too fun.
I've been on the KW/ Cozumel cruise and the GT, HMC, and Nassau cruise. Are you taking your kids with you? If you are taking the kids with you, I highly suggest the GT, HMC, Nassau cruise because it is more child-friendly. The beaches at GT and HMC are gorgeous. If you aren't taking the kids with you, it depends on your likes/ dislikes. KW/ Cozumel was more of a party cruise and a lot more time is spent on the ship due to port times. We had a blast though- we loved KW and went on a great snorkeling/ beach excursion in Cozumel. The other cruise seemed a little more mellow and laid back but still an awesome time. If I had to choose, I'd choose the GT, HMC, and Nassau cruise because it's an extra day and the beaches were awesome at GT and HMC.
I wouldn't choose the Key West and Cozumel cruise because the ships usually leave Key West between 1:00 and 2:00. When DH and I were in Key West a few months ago there were two ships in port and they both were gone by 1:30, and the locals said that it's typical.
I'd love the one with Grand Turk as we haven't been there yet and hear great things, but I've been to both Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman and loved both of those stops. Dunns River Falls and Margaritaville are a MUST in Ocho Rios!

I prefer the Eastern Carribean so this is hard for me.
I'd probably pick the Jamaica & Grand Cayman one b/c DH & I have never been to those islands together & I have always wanted to swim with the sting rays.
Key West & Cozumel would be next choice. Key West is fun but it's really only fun if you are there for a while. Duvall Street is all bars. I did go parasailing there after finding a bargain through the Chamber of Commerce Website. In Cozumel we went to see ruins which was cool. At one of the ports / docks in Cozumel they built a little town with a beach & pool. You can get off the ship & just hang out for a cheap change of pace.
I would not go to Half Moon Cay & the Bahamas b/c I think the private islands are boring & Nassau is seedy.
