What are the three most important lessons you have learned and why are they so critical?

These are just things I've grown to learn and embrace in the last few years. They mainly have to do with valuing myself more and enjoying life. I've been much happier since living by these.
*You can't please everyone all the time and it's not worth giving up your own happiness. It's ok to focus on yourself and do what you want.
*Always treat others how you want to be treated, but if they don't treat you well in return then it's not meant to be.
*If you don't like something or you're not happy with life, then change it. Life should be enjoyable!
When I went to collage, my dad pulled me aside and told me the following: Not all of the learning is done in the classroom, and always get invited back. These are words I now live by. My dad really was a smart guy.
Well, that's technically two, so I guess the third is from my mom. It really doesn't matter if people think you're weird. Having a good time, no matter what your job is or what you're doing, is good for YOU. If people on the outside think it's weird to dance around your place of business and crack jokes constantly, that's really too bad for them. Let your freak flag fly!
