allinclusiveoutlet.com, bookit.com and other sites

DH and I are looking into going on our honeymoon this year and we narrowed it down to Cabo San Lucas or St Lucia.

Been talking to a travel agent but it seems very expensive. I was seaching on the web and found bookit.com and allinclusiveoutlet.com with discounted prices for up to 50%. Has anyone had an experience with any of them? are they for real? any bad experiences?

If not, can you recommend a website or company to go through. thanks

Re: allinclusiveoutlet.com, bookit.com and other sites

  • I've used Bookit several times and never had any issues.  I've had to call their customer service once and they were incredibly friendly and helpful.

  • We used Bookit.com twice.  DH was hesitant at first, so he called customer service and booked the trip by speaking to someone.  We did not encounter any problems, so we booked online for the next trip.

  • I used bookit.com. I had a good experience. The only thing I would suggest is look at the flight options they offer.

  • We've used both apple vacations.com and allinclusiveoutlet.com for Mexico and Costa Rica, respectively. Great experiences and we'd use them again. Our flights via allinclusiveoutlet were the same ones offered through the Continental site for a few hundred dollars cheaper.

  • I've used Cheap Caribbean twice - no issues. The only "downfall" is that we couldn't choose the seats on the plane, but that's not a big deal to me.

I just booked a trip to Hawaii and the cheapest option was American Airlines Vacations, which I hadn't expected. I've also used Costco Travel before and been very pleased.

  • I used bookit.com and had no problem, they have excellent deals!

  • We booked a resort in Mexico using allinclusiveoutlet.com and got a great deal.  This was when the swine flu hysteria happened, and although DH and I are reasonable people, we questioned whether to continue with our plans.  Allinclusiveoutlet.com let us change to a resort in Jamaica, and refunded some of our money because the Jamaica resort was cheaper than the Mexico resort.  So, overall, I give allinclusiveoutlet.com rave reviews for being convenient, cheap, and offering excellent customer service.
