Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Update on me
Hey ladies! I haven't been posting much lately, but I've been lurking when I can.
Back in mid-December, my employer announced that they were moving the business I work on out to NYC. Because of this decision, lots of positions were affected, including my own. I have no interest in moving there, but HR told me they would try to find me a similiar position internally. If for some reason they could not, I would be laid off. They assured me they would provide a minimum of 2 weeks notice before that would happen.
I've been at the company for 6 years, and this was a surprise. I was upset because I love my job, but I understand these things happen. So I've been in the process of updating my resume and starting to network with my contacts.
Yesterday, I had an informal interview with a guy I used to work closely with who is interested in getting me on his team. Monday I have an interview with his boss, so keep your fingers crossed for me!
As for my personal life, L and I are doing great. There have been some growing pains involved with seriously dating a single parent, but we're getting through it. He's been really supportive through this difficult time, so that gets a big thumbs up from me.
