Whoa, the stolen package saga continues....

DH and I are on the couch, watching tv when I hear a loud knock. I look at DH and he's surprised, too, because we weren't expecting anyone. I look out the peephole and don't see anyone...so I open the door. Nobody there.

I'm about the close the door when I see a white envelope peeking out of the corner of my welcome mat. So I grab it and see it's addressed to Apt. 91.

It's some letter that looks like a kid wrote it and it says:

Dear people of Apt. 91,

I know who stole your wedding gift. They live in Apt. 85. I saw them take it and throw the rest in the bushes. You are welcome. Sorry if they threw it away. I wish the best for you that you find them.

I KNOW the guy in 85...it's the same guy that approached me one night and told me he had seen my sign and that if I ever needed him to, he'd be willing to take in my package until I got home so nobody steals it.

The guy also has kids, so I'm wondering if one of them knew what happened and felt bad and left me the note.

It's so strange....I shared the note with another guy who lives a few apartments away and had a package stolen. He was really glad I did and said the guy from 85 is pretty rude to him.

This whole situation has been beyond WEIRD.
