Well we just got back from our meet and greet with Max and he wasn't quite the right fit. First off, he was listed as 9 months old in his bio and he definitely was not. I'm guessing maybe 4-6 months judging him by Morgan standards. He was a sweet dog but had no training at all. Didn't know his name. Was just going to be a TON of work. He's got a lot of potential but we just don't have the time for another puppy right now.
While there though I did find a 4 year old yellow female named Julie that I'm in love with. She is the sweetest dog EVER. Oh man. She was pretty mellow and a little shy but so well behaved. Walked awesome on the leash and everything. She couldn't meet Morgan yet because she's getting over kennel cough, but in a couple weeks after she's better and spayed they're going to call me so we can officially play with her. Matt really liked her too and I think Morgan will as well. He tends to like female dogs better anyways.
Here's the picture they have on the website but in real life she's so much prettier! I wish I would have gotten a pic with my camera before we left!

I felt so very bad leaving her at the kennel. You could tell she was just miserable there. She apparently was a stray and was picked up by animal control. The rescue got to her shortly before she was going to be put down. She's pretty shy and a little hesitant which leads me to believe she may have been abused before, but once we sat down with her she was such a doll! She just sat her chin on my lap and didn't want to budge. I would have taken her home today if they would have let me!
We're still supposed to go see a 2 year old male black lab sometime next week once he's off quarantine, but she's going to be hard to beat.
We're thinking about renaming her Bailey to keep with the alcohol theme. Captain Morgan and Baileys. And, I don't even drink! lol

The sun and moon and all their light.
I just want to be the only girl, you love all your life.

Naming her Bailey would be cute to keep the alcohol theme going. She's got the perfect color for it.
When we were trying to decide on a name for Maya, the name Hope came up because we already had Faith. I considered it but wasn't sold on it.
