PSA: children's books at marden's

I got 22 hardcover children's books at marden's (in waterville) most $3 ea, a few $1.50 or $1 today. Spent $56, inc. some beef jerky and soup DH got.

Only a couple recognizable titles, but I found some great stories and some books by recognizable authors, but not their major works. I was there for at least an hour and only moved 20 feet.

I'm a Marden's addict... that's the first thing that has to go when I quit working... I love browsing their book section..

I worked there when I was in college... It think I spent my paycheck there in crap I didn't need most of the time. When we'd get books in I'd request to do the pricing on them just so I could sit in the giant box of books & go through all the titles before anyone else Now I have 3 book shelves and they're overflowing... I need to purge.

I live within walking distance of the Sanford store. It's a good thing there's snow on the ground now, it cuts down on my trips!

I picked up a few children's books at the Sanford store a couple of weeks ago. I got Bad Kitty, I Love You Stinky Face, the Amazing Machines 10 pack of small books (Helen had some already but for $3 I couldn't turn it down), Too Many Bunnies, and probably another one or two books I can't remember right now. I really had to restrain myself, as Helen's bookshelves are overflowing. She must have at least 200 books...and that doesn't include all the baby books I've already packed away.
