Happy Lunar New Year ladies!
What are your plans for today?
QOTD: What will you eat/drink today for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Re: Happy Sunday!
Lunar New Year? I love it!
I watched the sun rise over the City and Canary Wharf today, which was lovely. I've no idea why, but I woke up at 6 and just couldn't get back to sleep, so I decided to make the most of it.
QOTD: Had cereal for brekkie and probably soup later in the day, as I'm still recovering from a cold.
I'm bringing M to the market in a little while to meet up with friends. The weather is gorgeous today, I want to enjoy it.
QOTD: For breakfast we had eggs benedict, for lunch fresh oysters at the market with white wine (M will have a sandwich) and for dinner either leftover lamb tongue or frog legs that I picked up at the supermarket yesterday.Since H has been gone I've been indulging in all foods that I love that he can take or leave.
Hello.
My Sunday is almost over, but I have not felt well and slept most if it.
QOTD: Brunch - pancakes; dinner - 2x stuffed baked potatoes and whatever meat H picked up.
Morning!
I am doing a little nesting before I have to clean the house.
QOTD: Morning: Hot chocolate and biscuits
Lunch: Bolognese with pisto lasanga
Dinner: Safron Risotto with panceta
Hi! Plans for today are getting stuff done that I can't do while DH is working.
QOTD: breakfast - whole wheat toast with honey cream cheese (it was on sale so I thought I'd try it. yum.), lunch - duck with thai coconut rice, dinner - don't know yet. Either leftovers from lunch or a sandwich, probably.
Good Morning! Happy Lunar New Year!!
Sunday was a quiet day. We went over to DH's parents' house so he could help his dad with some roofing, and I watched the tennis with his mother. That was the highlight. Before dinner, I planned menus for the week and now we are watching Baz Lurman's William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.
QOTD: For breakfast I had some of the Cream of Wheat I got at the import grocery last week, and a toasted english muffin. I usually only eat two meals a day, so if I have breakfast I don't have lunch. For dinner, I made skillet pizzas and had the rest of a fruit salad I made yesterday. We're having popcorn with the movie.
It's the start of the week here in the ME. I've caught up on some TV, done some laundry, did some 30 day shredding and took the pup for a long walk and about to put away the piles of stuff I unpacked from our trip back home.
QOTD: Breakfast - I had some eggs, topped with avocado and cheese with some OJ. Lunch - I had some chicken noodle soup, goldfish and iced tea. For dinner, we're having flank steak stir fry with some rice. I've been drinking some water too

Good morning!
Today is a work day. I have to plan class for the week, work on a cover letter for a private school teaching position back in the States (yes, we've decided to go ahead and at least apply!), and do a bunch of practice tests for the theory part of the driving exam. I've got a busy week ahead of me!
QOTD:
Breakfast: museli (crap, I have no more cereal for tomorrow!) and coffee. Lots of coffee.
Lunch: Pork chops and a salad
Dinner: My very first pot of homemade chicken soup.
Happy Lunar New Year!
I took LittleGirl to her hearing test. She passed on one ear but not on the other. Doctor isn't concerned but I have to take her back in a month. Maybe next time I'll take the right exit and avoid the windy, congested roads through one of the Shia villages that has had a lot of demonstrations (and tear gas). That was fun.
QOTD: Had cold cereal and coffee for breakfast. Had Jasmi's grilled chicken sandwich, some fries (left the rest, promise), and diet pepsi for lunch. Dinner will be enchilada soup, homemade refried beans with some cheese melted on top, and garlic roasted zucchini.
Do you have a recipe for the enchilada soup?
