showing question

Have you ever had a showing and not been able to tell if someone came through it?

We don't get feedback on all our showings and I swear some of them I can't tell if anyone came. I just wish I knew.

Re: showing question

  • You could ask your agent to put a note in the showing instructions to leave a business card, although some buyers' agents will do that anyway just so you know they came.  You can also set out fliers with info on the home, snacks, and/or water bottles and count the number of items you set out, then if any are missing, you'll know someone came, although obviously it's not foolproof because some people won't take a flier if they aren't interested in the home and won't take a snack/drink if they don't need it.

  • If you have a lockbox, it records the entry times and realtor id so your realtor can access that.
