Wow this movie is definitely interesting...What a creep guy this Drew Peterson is...He was hitting on his fourth wife while married to his third...I guess since he was in the police force he felt people could not touch him..I hope he gets what is comin to him!!!

I agree 100 percent!! It was a really creepy role to tackle...
Oh man I totally wanted to see this.
Just watching the commercials would literally have me rolling on the floor.
My husband quotes the line from the preview all the time now. "I'm untouchable, b!tch!"
Right? Weirdest preview ever.
Isn't this Rob Lowe's 1st role as a "bad guy?" I DVRd it last night and SD wants to see it too. I thought we'd fall asleep half way thru after getting in late from a family party so we didn't watch - but then ended up putting the Outsiders in instead.
SD got to see Rob Lowe as I saw him when I was her age before seeing him in this movie.
She said "he was cute then, now he's old and ugly." I told her he's just made up to look older in that movie; he's still as hot as he was in the 80s.

This might be one that lasts a while. It's hysterically his response to things like, "Do you want broccoli with dinner?" /ded
I really want to get him a DVD or something for his birthday.
I know they should go and look for it...I think it was his brother that told on him I believe from the movie...Maybe he can lead the police to where they dumped the drum..
Can they (LMN and producers, etc.) put theories in a movie? Drew Peterson still awaits trial, but I would imagine that in order to make a movie, they had to do extensive research on certain points of the case. LMN can't just come up with, "oh, DP's half brother helped him (unknowingly) hide the body. I read somewhere that he allegedly confessed to the murder to another man in the jail.
I really, really wanted him to say "LIT-erally" like Traeger. Oh well.
I remember reading somewhere that the brother tried to kill himself after he helped move that blue barrel because he realized that Stacey could have been in it.
I dvrd it. Plan on watching tomorrow and I'm quite excited. I followed the news story quite closely.
I actually work for a job that puts me in the courthouse where he goes and where his trial will be. We try to not be in the building if we know he has something coming up. It's insane when he's there.
And I adore Rob Lowe.

I believe Drew's step brother admitted to helping him lug a blue drum from the home into the car, but he didn't go with Drew in the car, so he wouldn't know what Drew did with the drum.
the lifetime movie was based on a book written by the reporter at the Daily Herald. I read the book and have followed this case since 2007. The movie was very close to the book the reporter wrote. People's names were changed, but it was very close.
As far as the blue barrel, police have been searching for that for years. A while back, they followed up on what the inmate in prison said and did a search downstate IL and it didn't produce Stacey. The step brother was given drew's phone and allegedly drew called from the area with stacey's phone. The police have searched the area where that call from stacey was placed.
It is a very interesting case. I pray that they will find stacey.
I didn't realize the movie was based on the journalist's book. Was it the journalist in the movie with brown hair/kinda cute?
Yeah this whole story thing is just sad and sick..Stacey deserves to be found at least so she can have a burial and some justice for her family and kids. I am hoping he gets capital punishment and they execute him right away instead of these inmates that get put on death row and are still there for years to come.
