This is getting really old.
So while everyone's off cooking meals together and going on vacation together and adopting animals together and getting pregnant together, DH and I are across the country from one another >:{ It's going on 3 weeks. It was only supposed to be 2 but its going to be 3, and now we have not seen each other or slept in the same bed for 2 weeks (going on 3) in a row. I am getting to be one unloved-unsexed-unhappy-grumpasaurous! I loathe busy season, I really really do!
My pity party is over now, and I think I'll go eat a brownie.

I'm sorry your hubby has been away for so long. I hope 3 weeks is it and he comes back home soon! Until then just look forward to all the amazingness that will happen when he comes back.

Aw MissD, it's like we're having brownies together
Bennerhalf - he's an auditor - so he's away for so long because the headquarters for his clients he got put on this year are half way across the country. I guess they have offices near us but he has to travel out to their headquarters to meet certain year-end deadlines. boooooo. I think I've watched "How to lose a guy in 10 days" like 3 times since he's been gone, LOL

aww boo!!! I made brownies 2 days ago! It must be a brownie week! They were sooooo good. I am sorry that you are going 3 weeks without your hubby. My H is delivering pizza's tonight. I am sitting on the couch watching the Drew Peterson movie on lifetime, eating a brownie and drinking a huge glass of chocolate milk (super healthy) I can't help it, he is from the next town over. He is such a freaking creep.
Joy I wish we all lived by eachother! We could hang out and have girls nights when all our Hubby's are away. Boo
I'm sorry! Having you H away sucks. Mine will be gone 20 out of 30 days this month... It's his works busy time of the year too.I've been keeping myself very busy which helps but it still sucks when he's gone.
I'm making brownies tomorrow :-) they sound super good now though!

That really sucks! I'm sorry you have to go so long without your man! H and I did long distance for 4 years and only really got to see each other 1 or 2 times a month, so I know how hard it is to be away from each other.
I hope that he can hurry home after this week and you two can have an amazing reuniting!

H has to travel sometimes for his job too, and it sucks. So far we know of a few trips he has to take this year and I can't go on any of them. Usually I do, but the job I have now I can't take time without pay. I only have 2 weeks vacation and we plan on going to florida in November.
Mmmmm... brownies sound awesome. I made peanut butter candy cakes the other day and they are almost gone so maybe I will make some brownies later.

I love that you had chocolate milk! I haven't had that in forever. I did have a gigantic mug of hot chocolate though

Oh man, that's such a long time to do an LDR! DH and I did that for 2 years and I will admit the LDR is way worse because of how consistently infrequent you get to see each other!
Thanks for all your understanding ladies! I really wish we all lived near each other we could have a house specifically designated for "my-hubby-is-away" ladies, complete with sweets and chick flicks.... and an onsite masseuse! LOL

I think I would overuse this house!! lol! With H working nights, I am alone almost every night. Luckily he doesn't travel, and my work only requires traveling for up to 4 days at a time. We had a semi-LDR the whole time we were dating and only saw each other every other week or so. It definitely isn't fun and I hope your H can come home soon!!!
