Who is everybody rooting for today? Who no longer cares about this season?

I am a Giants fan.........DH is a Ravens fan. We both root for each others team as long as they aren't playing each other. Neither of us are looking forward to a potential Ravens/Giants Super Bowl bc it will inevitably lead to issues.

As far as the Giants/49ers, I don't really know who to root for. I can't bring myself to root for the Giants, but if the Pats win, I'd love a Patriots/Giants Superbowl rematch.

At this point I start looking for reasons so support a time- coach, players I like/hate- lol.

I like Eli and can't stand Brady so I'll probably go for the G-man. They beat us and the last time to beat us int he playoffs ( the Pack last year) went on to the Superbowl.

Ray Lewis is F'ed -up my city ( hasn't been the same since) with his stabbing spree a few years ago so I hate the Ravens by default.

So basically I need the G-man to step it up today and in two weeks. If not I'll still be happy with the 49ers.

Definitely rooting for the 49ers, since it's been a while since they've been good and I would like to see them make it to the Superbowl after sucking for a handful of years.

And I just can't root for the Patriots, like EVER, so by default, I'm pulling for the Ravens.

I am rooting for the 49ers. 2 of their defensive starters went to Mizzou (Justin Smith and Aldon smith...you will hear their names often).

I don't really have a preference for the Ravens v Pats. For Beth's sake, I would love for that Pats to win since she will be there.

Patriots and Giants... I grew up a Giants fan so I always root for them. but have become a bigger Pats fan since I live in MA.

We were going to have a big Patriots party at our house (H is a Dolphins fan, but that's his problem). Unfortunately I got hit with a stomach bug this morning, so the party got moved to SIL's and I'll be watching alone on the couch.

As for the other game, don't care either way but I think I will root for the Patriots. A repeat NY/NE Superbowl would be fun.

I agree that I'm trying to find reasons to root for teams. I don't like Tom Brady but DH has the world's most giant man crush ever on him so I'm sure he'll root for the Patriots. I just recently started trying to follow pro football (other sports/ college ball are more my thing), so I have little to go on other than team colors and celeb athletes.
