Feeling post happy - family vacation?
Beggars can't be choosers, I know this, but my parents want to go on a family vacation someplace warm this Christmas. They're looking at Bahamas/Caribbean, like Aruba, St. Croix, even over at Cancun. I'm excited to go mostly because they're paying lol, but I don't want to end up at some sexy couples resort with my parents...... (my younger brother is going too, and he'll more than likely be alone).
Any ideas where I can suggest??? I've heard DR is nice and have known my friend to go with her family before.

I would go to the caribbean over Mexico. St Lucia, Dominican, and Costa Rica would be my top 3 caribbean destinations. I havent been to the Caribbean in years (In the past I've been to Jamaica, Bahamas, and st maarten) and DH and I are planning domestic trips for this year (and maybe Europe) so I can't help with resorts in the Caribbean.
If anyone need info on northern Michigan, Richmond VA, or Brussels/London/Paris/Amsterdam, I'm your girl!
We're looking to go to Belgium/Amsterdam next year! I've been to Belgium but never planned anything on my own so I might have some ?s for you pretty soon

We went to Aruba for our HM. We stayed at the Marriott Renaissance. We were in the Adult Exclusive side (Marina Hotel), but across the street was their family hotel, Ocean Suites.

Our friend is working in Belgium for 3 years (just about 2.5 years to go) so we are hoping to fly over with his wife and stay with them in their apartment in Brussels for a week or 2 and hopefully take side trips to the other cities. We already have the whole thing planned we just have to get the official "okay" from our bosses to leave the country for 2 weeks! I'd love to hear more about your trip to Belgium sometime
No, we are both from Michigan but on of DH's fraternity brothers moved to Richmond for a teaching job and met a great Southern girl so they are getting married there. It sounds like a great city! We will be there for 3 nights so it's just a mini vacay.
