Hi ladies! I know I haven't been posting much lately, but I have been lurking in the evenings so I still know what's going.
As some of you know, I have been working temporarily with Team in Training/The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I spend most of my day making calls to try to recruit people to join our summer team.
Because I am not sure how much longer it will be going on for (probably only a week or so I'm guessing), I accepted a part time position from one of my friends/teammates. She owns a catering company and they have gotten very busy. She is looking for someone to help prep for deliveries and help with some paperwork. They do mostly corporate catering, so it shouldn't be too much evening/weekend work. I doubt it will turn into a full time opportunity, but I'm hoping it will at least be good experience and help me connect with others.
Now I need to sit down and seriously work on my resume. I'm at a complete loss with it, but I told myself I will have a full time job by March 15, so I NEED to get it together.
Hope you all have a great Sunday!
Re: Hola!
Hey! Glad to hear that you've found something part time, even if it probably won't become a full time position! You may be able to network through this position and find something great!

Hyrdangea, joining Team really has been one of the best decisions I have made. I met the founder of it at the race weekend and I shook his hand and thanked him for starting the amazing organization. I told him "Joining Team is the best decision I have ever made, short of getting married" to which he responded "well, I hope getting married was the best decision ever!" My response? "Eh...6 days out of 7" :-p
But seriously, I have met some of the most amazing people I will ever meet and support such a great cause at the same time...all well getting into better shape. It really has given me new life (figuratively, of course).
