All Inclusive Resorts for Kids

Can anyone recommend a good/reasonalbe all-inclusive resort that kids (age 4) can go to?

  • Any idea of where you're looking for?  Off the top of my head, Beaches resorts are targeted for families, but not too affordable, IMO.

The only AI we've been to that was not adults only was Sirenis Cocotal in Punta Cana, and we had a great time.  There were a lot of small kids there, but I'm not sure what types of entertainment or activities they had for kids, or anything.

  • We went to Dreams in Puerto Vallarta before we had a child, and will definetly go back with her, their Kids Club looked awesome!  The resort was fabulous, also.

  • I stayed at the Grand Sirenis near Tulum and there were kids there. There was a lazy river with inner tubes that winds through the grounds, that seemed really popular with the kids. I believe they had a smaller pool just for kids with activities and stuff, but don't know much about it since I didn't have kids with me. There were also a ton of other activities available from tennis to snorkeling to painting pottery.
  • It's not AI, but South Seas Resort on Captiva Island is fantastic for families.  And you don't have to carry money, everything is charged to your room.  We just had our 2nd trip there in November.....fabulous time!  Plus, it's cheaper to get to since it's still within the U.S.

  • We went to Beaches Sandy Bay (in Jamaica) a month ago and it was fabulous.  Sandy Bay is their "value" resort so it's a little smaller and less fancy, but still a lot of fun and you have recipricol priveleges with their more upscale resort next door.  They have a partnership with Sesame Street and a ton of activities for all ages.
