so how are you spending the last day of your weekend?
Re: so how are you spending the last day of your weekend?
i'm sitting on the couch, sipping tea, watching gossip girl.
i'll get to the 30ds later and a shower.. but for now, relaxation is top on my list!
Our Blog!
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain."
I went for a run, now I'm hydrating up for hot yoga this afternoon (which may very well be the death of me... I've never ran and done hot yoga in the same day).
Last week was pretty much a wash for work with everyone working from home and I'm lookiing forward to getting back in the swing of things this week.
it's chinese new years eve, so we had lunch with friends, are grocery shopping right now, then going to costco, home depot, then traditional nye dinner with our parents.
taking tomorrow off work for new years day! looking forward to sleeping in some more!

jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
It was a lazy start to our day. Stayed in bed for a while and then the power went out at 1 but thankfully came back on in 10 minutes. Started some laundry and then headed to Starbucks. I finished my report card comments and DH drew. Now we're off to church in a few minutes.
I'm not ready to go back to school. I loved sleeping in. But I do have stuff that needs to get done!
Today's been super relaxing, I love it.
First, we walked to the coffee shop this AM to get more beans and cappuccinos. Link did really well
. He's been misbehaving a bit lately, so I was super happy that he wasn't a brat. He sat patiently the whole time we were in line! I also love that so many coffee shops in Cap Hill are dog friendly, it makes me super happy. Then DH made me a yummy parmesan omelet for breakfast.
Did a few loads of laundry (still need to fold DH's clothes, then put mine in the dryer and fold mine). DH made us a broccoli cheddar soup for lunch that was delicious.
I also played around a bunch on pinterest, decided to institute a ban on shopping for clothes/make-up in Feb (hah!), and now I'm halfway watching the niners game.
We made our weekly grocery list/tentatively planned our meals, and will be walking to the grocery store soon. Then tonight DH's making chicken soup for dinner.
That game was a heart-breaker. Ouch.
Today was just crazy busy. The whole weekend was. It was good overall, but I feel like I barely saw H. We didn't take any snow days last week, so I feel like I've been going 100mph for days on end.
We hosted a brunch after church today for the students we mentor, then went to my cousin's welcome-home-from-deployment party, then came home to watch H's football team lose. I didn't finish the dishes, my laundry's not folded, but it's time for bed. Whine.
