What would you like to work on or improve in your life?
Me:
I would like to make new friends who are in the same place as me, lifewise. (All while keeping the old, of course).
I would like to meet a great guy, and have a relationship, but I am not going to let being single stop me from enjoying life either. I still like it!
I would like to pick a definite new career path very soon, and make a set-in-stone type of written plan to get there. I am in no rush, because the money and schedule is good where I am right now, but it makes me feel secure knowing that I have a backup plan for the second half of my working life. I still have 35 years left until retirement age, so it makes me feel less rushed when I think abotu it that way.
I would like to find a bigger studio apartment with a big kitchen and new bathroom.
I would like to pay off my car and have no car payment for a while.
How about you?

Re: Self Improvement post:
I would like to meet one or two female friends my age that are also single without children who don't want to just party like they're 20.
I'd like to finally meet a guy that I can feel totally comfortable with, that also treats me well, and that I'm attracted to. I seem to never be able to hit the trifecta.
I would like to get out of my house and back into an apartment. I can't afford to do what I need to do to keep this place up, and I'm just sinking slowly.
I would like to find a different career that has nothing to do with sitting at a desk or trying to sell ice to eskimos. Maybe something that makes people feel good and calm.
I'd like to feel healthier, get into yoga, and not feel so trapped in my own body sometimes.
Hmmm. Yep. I think I hate my current life, lol
Aww, don't think of it as hating your current life, get excited about all the new changes you'll make instead. Those are all attainable goals.
I think we should do weekly check-ins for goal setting and to keep each other accountable.
I'm planning on spending a day at a salon for a makeover soon... maybe a new haircut, massage, etc. I need it and just want to pamper myself a bit - it's been a long long time and I definitely think it will be a great way to {physically} get a fresh start.
I want to make more friends (Leah we are hanging out after the Bar exam!)
I want to get back into an exercise regime. Maybe running.
A better job with better pay would be good too. Working on a family venture that I hope works out.
That's about it do far!
We are definitely hanging out! I had fun with you the last time.
I would invite you to my gym for some classes, but we both know that might not be a good idea for certain reasons. lol. Maybe we can go for some runs together outside when the weather warms up.
I'd like to step up & get the next licensure in my job.
I need to get better about my eating habits. I'm not terrible, but I need to start planning ahead again.
I want to pay off my car & not have car payments for awhile.
I want to pay off the little credit card debt I have left.
I want to lose a bit of weight and transition to healthier eating habits
I want to get my car fixed once and for all so that I stop stressing out about it
I want to build my savings back up (I was un-/under-employed for 16 months from June 2010 to October 2011, and my savings took a HUGE hit during that time)
I really like the idea of doing a weekly goal check in. I know it would help me stay on track. My goals are pretty small right now because I find that the more specific and manageable I make them, the more likely I am to achieve them.
1) Finish painting and decorating my new space. Because I like to live mostly in my head, I tend to let things like cleaning and decorating go by the wayside. My new room is half painted and half my clothes are outside in common space. I want to take ownership of my things and create a nice environment for myself.
2) Replace 45 minutes of TV with 45 minutes of meditation and contemplation. I don't have a TV, but I watch way too much Hulu. It's becoming a problem.
3) Exercise at least 30 minutes 3 times per week (to be upped later, but I'm starting small).
4) Restrict online time to after work hours (today=fail) and read at least a chapter of a book each day.
I would like to continue my "Food Rehab" and stay on the healthy train! I am taking the time to retrain myself how to live healthy and take it one day at a time
I want to start taking my ceramics class again. I love how relaxing it is and it is such a great creative outlet, even though I hardly ever make anything great looking.
I want to make myself as organized as possible. I am decent at this task with my work life, but I get lazy when I get home and do the bare minimum to keep my house clean and things in there place. I am currently gathering ideas that I can start implementing when I move back into my condo in March.
Pay off my CC debt. I am taking big steps towards this with my tax return, but I want a zero balance by the end of the year.
