Anyone stay at Pop Century at Disney?

What is a good "standard" room location that is close to the food court, and fairly close to the main pool and the bus pick up .....thanks in advance!

Re: Anyone stay at Pop Century at Disney?

  • Here is link for the hotel itself: http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/pop.htm

My sister and I stayed at the Pop Century about 4 years ago and it is a very nice hotel. We stayed in the 80's section I believe and the rooms were very well maintained. In order to get to the buses you have to go through the main part of the hotel where the lobby is. There are a lot of buses that run usually every 20 minutes. We went in March during Spring Break so it can be a bit busy. Is this your first time going to Disney World?

  • not our first time to WDW, but first time staying at Pop! Thanks

  • We stayed there in may, and really liked it! We were in the 70s building, in the back... I think it was a "premium" room, even though we didn't pay extra for one.

I thought it was really easy to get to the buses, food court, and pool...but it was also quiet, too. Have fun!!!

  • Stayed there in July and staying there again when I go down next month.  I was in the 90's building and it was close to the mail building.

It's a great hotel for the value.
