accessing text messages ??

Does anyone know if this is possible from the computer?  We have AT&T and I know I can send a text from the AT&T website but I don't see an option to view texts.

Re: accessing text messages ??

  • You can't view the actual texts, but if you log into your AT&T account, you can look at the numbers texted to and from and the times.  It will also show if an image was texted.
  • You can possibly see if the company will send you a transcript, or something...  I don't know if that's possible though.

  • This comes up in divorce cases and I was surprised by how difficult it is to get texts. I have not seen anyone able to get a transcript from the company without a police request or a court order. They don't just release copies of texts to the person on the account. It may vary by state though, so it wouldn't hurt to ask your service provider. Just don't be shocked if they say no way.
