Lots of happy Giants and Pats fans, I am sure. Anything else that made your weekend a success or failure?

It was good, I was just hoping to get more done.
Lots of R&R, so I'm probably going to have to bust my butt this week.
I read this as vibrate fivefingers... I was going to ask for an explanation! LOL
Mine was just okay. We had hoped to bathe the dogs and never got around to it. Friday I had the doctor's visits and then late lunch with my mom. She bought me some new clothes and I was really excited about that, she's the best!
Saturday I was kinda mopey and depressed feeling, not really because I felt bad but more like a "why me?" pity party about being sick. It was silly but I couldn't really get positive that morning. The H had gone out on errands and when he came back he brought some flowers and a cup of my favorite hot soup to cheer me up, so that helped.
Yesterday we just hung around the house, watched football, chillaxed, and made some beef roast in the crockpot.

My party on Saturday was an absolute blast and the psychic gave me some good insight.
We also found super cute bridesmaid dresses that the entire gang was happy with.

I also had a good chat with my mom on Sunday about how I feel. We worked some stuff out and it was good to vent a little.
I wouldn't get too down about feeling bad about the situation. Who would want that? I think that's a pretty normal reaction given the situation.
But kudos to your H and mom for making you feel better this weekend!

SS, thanks. I told the H when I woke up that I was not going to be much for conversation and I felt like just staying in bed half the day. I don't get that way often, but he understood and let me have my peace.
Ang, that is a cute dress! It definitely IS one you could wear again (cliche as that is). I am glad you worked stuff out with your mom, for now!
It is also very light which is a bonus because her date is July 13th.
It was alright, I could still use one more day. I would LOVE a 4 day workweek.
Saturday I blew off the gym for staying in bed. We got a few inches of snow (no biggie IMO), but people were driving stupid as I was on my way to meet some HS friends for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. I had an OK time catching up. I think it's one of those things where we've just drifted apart and don't have nearly as much in common. I'm sure we'll keep in touch and get together for lunch or something a few times a year, but I don't see it going any further. I'm OK with that.
Sunday I just did stuff around the house, then took S and one of his colleagues to the airport. I met up with a friend at the gym after that.
Erin - I am glad you got to just chill. How did the appointment go?
Friday was lots of fun. Girls night at my BFF's. Although, i's hard to call it girls night when her BF was there. But he lives there, so I guess he's allowed.
Saturday we went to a BYOB restaurant, which is great financially.It was a very loud Italian place which was PERFECT b/c my freind and have a habit of getting shhhhh'd at restaurants.
Sunday was the Pats game party and my goodness what a game!

The appointment went about as well as it could have. I am not dying and don't have a tumor or cyst, so that's great news. The mass they found is related to some imflammation and swelling in my bowel, so that isn't so good but it is treatable. I go back tomorrow to a new doctor for this and hopefully they can help fix me. At least I know what it is, even though I am still not feeling "right" yet.
Our weekend was alright, nothing very exciting.
Friday: We went to dinner and then to Target. I hadn't been anywhere since Sunday so it was nice to get out. Walking around Target was exhausting on my back though.
Saturday: Lounged around most of the day, went to dinner and then rented Cowboys vs. Aliens. That movie was ridiculous.
Sunday: Did some laundry and watched football. Went to see Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close at a theater where you can have cocktails and dinner. It was nice.
My weekend was awesome!!! Friday at my appointment they told me I can put up to my full weight on my ankle with the boot on. I've still been using one crutch for support since he told me to ease into it, but I've taken a few unassisted steps as well. And the best part is that the pain is very minimal - it's sore, but nothing you wouldn't expect after not using it for almost 4 months.
Since it was snowing Saturday morning, H did all of our laundry and I ordered groceries. I cooked a ton of food, and since it was just us we have leftovers for the week. H was as happy as could be between seeing me walk and eating my food. lol
GREAT weekend. I can't wait to get back to doing whatever the fvvck I want!
I had a great weekend! Fri night we went to the hockey game and had 3rd row seats right by the goal. It took us about 3 hours to get there in the snow storm but we made it on time thanks to a late puck drop.
Sat I had lunch with my sis and old bosses (who are more like parents to my sis and I) and then we all went to a wine tasting and then back to my sis's house to open a bottle of wine.
Sun I went and got ice skates and H and I went to a pond to skate a little bit. I still cannot skate AT ALL... its pitiful. I'm so afraid of falling that I'm afraid to move! At least he's good enough to drag me around. I was able to pass a hockey puck around, as long as he hit it directly to me so I didn't have to chase after it.
Married--That's awesome news!!
My weekend was interesting.
Friday--we went out to the Thai place, where a guy tried to get into a fight with my husband, which was fun...
Saturday--my H had to work, so I hung out with him there, then we went out for dinner and drinks for one of H's friends, which was fun.
Sunday--we played video games, hung out, and watched football. ((The best day of the weekend, honestly.))
