How was your weekend?
What are your plans for the week?
Re: Monday check-in
SO cold. And snowy. I typically don't mind cold or snow, I mostly just hate the inconvenience of messy roads and shoveling.
We packed up basically our entire house this weekend. All we have left now is the table, one couch, TV, our beds and dressers. We even packed up the kitchen so we're eating off paper plates all week and trying to eat everything out of the freezer.
This week will be more of the same. Today I might have to ban myself from the Nest/Bump before I continue commenting on all of the Joe Paterno threads.
Weekend was busy and flew by. Saturday we got up late and ran some errands before I headed out to my volleyball tournament. Only when I got to the gym they told me the team had already been eliminated from playoffs. Um, it would have been nice to get a call so I didn't schlep over there in all the nasty snow and stuff for nothing
Saturday night we cleaned for like four hours straight. Having a clean house is a must for Chinese New Year and, per usual, I procrastinated.
Yesterday we basically spent the whole day at my parents' house doing Chinese New Year stuff and gorging on good food.
ETA: I forgot to answer the "plans for the week" question. Nothing exciting, really, just the usual--work, volleyball, etc.
Weekend was ok-- we were at the ILs... I found myself getting quite irritated, quite quickly with MIL. Glad to be home!
Plans for the week-- nothing really... work, work, work...
Ha! I had to step away from Facebook yesterday. I commented on my cousin's post, "I'm sorry for his family's loss. But that's all I can say about that." And I'm pretty sure a sh!tstorm ensued (he and his friends are big college football fans), but I hid him so I wouldn't have to see it.
Our weekend was lazy. We watched a lot of tv both days, and Crazy, Stupid Love on Saturday night. (Which I really liked. And wow, Ryan Gosling is hot like fire in that movie.) I read a book and a half, and my husband watched a lot of football and played video games.
This week, I have training again all day tomorrow (second to last one, woohoo!), then Wednesday, I have to head to RI for a dinner with our RI fellows and a conference on Thursday. Beautiful downtown Warick for the win, whut whut! There are three of us going, and all of 8 fellows coming to dinner, so yeah. Giant waste of time, but at least I don't have to be in the office for another day and a half.
Weekend was good. Foster dog went home yesterday! We miss him, but feel great about the placement.
I just pulled on a really old fave sweater from college and saw that he left a parting gift...he chewed the cuff off of it! Doh!
Our inspection is tomorrow.
My parents arrive Thurs. DH's birthday is Friday, so he and I are going out Saturday night.
Saturday was good, Sunday sucked. Both of my teams lost
Week looks busy. But what week doesn't?
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

Weekend was good! Fairly quiet Saturday. Sunday did some shopping and spent the evening with H's fam and then his good friends and their adorable kids!
This week will probably end up being crazy. I'm already off on the wrong foot, thanks to not sleeping last night. I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow. And I'm doing SIL's wedding programs for her and need to get those done this week... or at least close to done.
We registered for the baby, after it was done snowing, then had dinner out. Sunday we watched football. It was a nice weekend.
Not much going on this week, and I'm thankful for a quieter week. Last week was wicked busy. We're going out with my coworkers Saturday night for a going away celebration for my baymate.
